Position: Live-out Nanny/Household Assistant

Schedule: Full-time position with flexible hours (40-50 hours per week):

-    Summer: Monday – Friday 8am – 5/6pm

-    Fall: Monday – Friday 10:30am – 7pm

-    Rest of Year: Monday – Friday 10:30am – 6:30pm

Location: Greenwich, CT

Salary:                $40-45/hour based on experience

Overview:

An active family of five in Greenwich, CT is seeking a warm and loving full-time Nanny/Household Assistant to help with the care and development of their three children (ages 10, 9 & 5). The Nanny will be responsible for all aspects of the children’s care, household organization, cooking, and driving (school pickups, local errands, etc.). Family also has a dog (Yellow Labrador).

Responsibilities:

·      Care for the children, nurture their development, and help manage their schedules/activities

·      Driving for the children and handling local errands as needed (car provided)

·      Help with light housekeeping and laundry for the kids and light housekeeping (clean kitchen, keep children’s rooms and mudroom areas tidy and organized)

·      Prepare simple, family-style dinner as needed

·      Support the overall organization of the home, including helping the kids manage their sports equipment

·      Meet and manage vendors who come to the home

·      Pet care, including help with feeding, letting dog in/out and occasional walking

Character:

·      Loving, caring and energetic

·      Capable, self-confident and proactive

·      Very good communicator, both written and verbal

·      Ability to adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances

Requirements:

·      Excellent, stable work history and references

·      Must be able to drive with clean driving record; car will be provided

·      Looking for long-term commitment; become part of the family and evolve as children get older
